About Hypnotherapy in Redcar, Cleveland, Teesside and North Yorkshire

Hypnosis is a very pleasant state of deep relaxation and focussed concentration with heightened awareness. It's a totally natural state of altered consciousness that you go in and out of many times a day. It's those wonderful moments when you are just going to sleep or waking up, when you are day dreaming or lost in the plot of a good film or book. It's when the conscious mind quietens down allowing access to the depths of your subconscious mind.

Deeply rooted within your subconscious mind are all your remembered, forgotten or repressed past experiences, memories, emotions and beliefs. Some of these may be negative and outdated preventing you from making changes, moving on and achieving your full potential. As a hypnotherapist I will help you to access your subconscious mind to get to the root cause of your problem by very safely and gently guiding you, using my voice, into hypnosis. Although deeply relaxed you will be very aware throughout of what is happening. You will always be in control.

When you are in hypnosis it is very easy to communicate with the subconscious mind to release any unwanted negative patterns. Positive ideas, suggestions and images are then introduced to help you to make the changes that you want to make.
